Tell me that it's nobody's fault, nobody's fault, but my own...
So I've been ordering a lot of CDs off of eBay lately. Today, Mutations by Beck came. It's a good one, especially if you don't like his sample-heavy stuff on Odelay and Guero (I do, but this album has absolutely no samples, so I thought it was worth mentioning). A lot of relaxed, acoustic guitar songs. It's a somewhat sad album, too. I mean, the song titles say it all. Cold Brains, Nobody's Fault But My Own, Dead Melodies, Bottle of Blues, etc. I probably won't do a review as cohesive as Kid A for a while, though. Though I have to admit that review was kind of amateurish. OH WHO AM I KIDDING
WHO AM I TALKING TO NOBODY WATCHES THIS BLOG
I MEAN ITS NOT LIKE I SHOULD EXPECT ANYONE TO READ IT YET BUT STILL I ACT LIKE PEOPLE ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT MY PERSONAL AFFAIRS
WHY DID I EVEN FEEL LIKE STARTING A BLOG IN THE FIRST PLACE IM NOT THAT INTERESTING OF A PERSON OR WITTY OR FUNNY OR GAH
Oh well, I guess I'll be comforted by the assortment of bluesy numbers on this album in the meantime. Sing it again, Beck. Sing it again.
By the way, this movie you've never heard of is complete BS and you should check it out:
Titanic - The Legend Goes On
By That Guy With the Glasses, or Nostalgia Critic, or whatever he prefers to be called by.
